1. Find the Envoy
ㅇ Date : May 24 (Fri) - May 25, 2024 (Sat) (4 events in total)
ㅇ Time : 1st: 10:00 – 12:00 2nd: 13:00 – 15:00
ㅇ Location : Paengseong-eup Gaeksa and surrounding area
ㅇ Participants : Students as well as entire families
ㅇ Participation : Open to everyone
ㅇ Details :
- An educational experiential program, guiding participants through the historical and cultural landmarks of Paengseong-eup, as if envoys in the past would have seeking for the Paengseong-eup Gaeksa
- At each checkpoint, there will be cultural explanations provided by guides to help visitors understand the neighborhood better, along with historical quizzes, games, stamp tours, and more.

① Buyongsan community park
② Gaeksa 3-ri village community center
③ Paengseong-eup Welfare Center (Old government office site)
④ Paengseong-eup Gaeksa (destination) (900m in total)

2. Sewing Troop
ㅇ Date : Jun 8 (Sat) - Sept 21, 2024 (Sat) (1st and 3rd Saturdays every month / 8 sessions total)
ㅇ Time : 10:00 – 12:00
ㅇ Location : Anjeong-Ri Art Square (Everyday Arts Center)
ㅇ Participants : Local residents, Foreigners, etc.
ㅇ Participation : First 20 applicants in order of application
ㅇ Details : Handcrafting traditional costumes to wear and participate in the main event ‘On the Way to Meet the King,’ that will be held on September 28th
ㅇ Fee : 30,000 won

ㅇ Time : Jun 13 – Jun 14 / 10:00 – 12:00 (Capacity building education)

ㅇ Location : Paengseong-eup Welfare Center
ㅇ Participation : Open to all local residents
ㅇ Details : Capacity building education
- An educational program aimed at fostering cultural planners, helping residents to take a leading and ongoing role in promoting events
- Forum on the excavation and development of traditional cultural contents in Paengseong-eup and the roles of residents
- Development of cultural products and the role of residents.
- Relationship between local cultural festivals and the local economy.

- Share achievements of the last decade (2015 - 2024) with residents

4. On the Way to Meet the King (Main event)

ㅇ Participants : Open to all residents, K6 US military families, and people of all ages and genders
ㅇ Details : Parade of the Governor & Reenactment of the Manggwollye, Traditional cultural events and additional events
ㅇ Parade route : Paengseong-eup Welfare Center - Daewon Apartment - Songhwa Elementary School - Umi Apartment - Paengseong Fire House – Cheongdam Middle & High School - Paengseong-eup Gaeksa Samgeori - Paengseong-eup Gaeksa (1.8km in total)
ㅇ Fee : Free (All participants)
ㅇ Reservation : Free rental of traditional costumes
